From Nest to Wings is entering a period of exciting change. The end result of these changes will be to allow From Nest To Wings to continue to focus on our educational programming while also establishing a scholarship in our name.
As of December 31, 2026, Nest will close its 501(c)(3) status and transition from a publicly run organization to a privately held education-focused entity.
The future of From Nest To Wings will be a privately funded continuation of all the educational tools that have been built.
And From Nest To Wings will continue down that path. But change is coming in two major ways. First, we are giving up our 501(c)(3) status as of December 31, 2026. Nest will become a privately funded educational entity, led by a dedication to the principles that have led us to where we are today.
Our most exciting news is that we are working to establish an award.

From Nest To Wings "Spread Your Wings" Scholarship Fundraising Campaign
From Nest To Wings is launching a one-time ask to establish a permanent endowment to fund the "Spread Your Wings" Scholarship. Once fully funded, the scholarship will be awarded annually through an account established with the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education
All donations received from this point forward will be utilized to fund our new scholarship!
Please help us support students through this scholarship. This is more than a donation. It's a legacy!
All funds must be received by close of business on December 20, 2026. On December 31, 2026, From Nest to Wings will close its nonprofit status but will continue to provide education to high school and college students and their parents.
